Thoughts on how your competitive experience as a Patriot League student-athlete helped you achieve professional or personal goals:

My experiences as a student-athlete at Lehigh University have been a great assistance and influence in the development of my character and molding me into the person that I am today. Patriot League athletics taught me how hard you have to work in order to achieve your goals because winning does not come easily. My first season at Lehigh saw my team win one game, yet my career culminated with a fifteen-win season and a Patriot League championship. It took enormous effort and committed teamwork, two values that I now teach my players, in order for us to become champions. The life lessons in perseverance that I learned through sports have been invaluable assets, as I have become a highly successful coach. I help kids achieve their dreams of playing college basketball, including my sister, who will pursue college glory on the court instead of the field, when she enters her freshman year at Lafayette College in September 2005.
