8/19/08 Cassese set to welcome newest Mountain Hawks Smith Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kevin Cassese has announced the addition of 12 student-athletes to the Mountain Hawks program for the 2009 season that will arrive on campus on Thursday, August 21. These newest members of the lacrosse program hail from nine different states and cover every positional group. "I am proud to welcome these twelve outstanding student-athletes into our Mountain Hawk men's lacrosse family," Cassese explained. 8/19/08 Lehigh continues preparations for 2008 season The first week of preseason practice is nearly complete for the Lehigh field hockey team, which is getting ready for the 2008 campaign. The Mountain Hawks have been working hard on the turf at the Ulrich Sports Complex, and with the season opener now just eleven days away, head coach Julie Mazer is pleased with what she has seen thus far. 8/19/08 Evans named to 2008 Hermann Trophy Watch List The Missouri Athletic Club recognized junior forward Kyle Evans as one of the nation's best men's soccer players on Wednesday when it named him to the 2008 Hermann Trophy Watch List. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually to the best player in Division-I soccer, and it is considered the highest individual honor in the sport. This was the first time in Lehigh history that a player was named to the trophy's Watch List, which was comprised of 48 players from all of Division-I men's soccer. MORE [+]
