Nine Patriot League Track and Field Student-Athletes Honored by USTFCCCA
Nine Patriot League track and field student-athletes and two member institutions have been honored for their academic and athletic performance with selections to the 2008 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division-I All Academic Track and Field Team.

Lafayette's Harbin Finishes 19th in Hammer Throw at U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials
Recent graduate Ashley Harbin (Clarksville, Tenn.) added another item to her lengthy resume on Thursday evening when she competed in the hammer throw at the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. Harbin, who graduated in May with a degree in Economics & Business, threw a distance of 199' 2" for a 19th-place finish.

Patriot League Announces Women's Track and Field Academic Honor Roll
One hundred and seventy-eight student-athletes were named to the 2008 Patriot League Women's Track and Field Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich Wednesday. The following student-athletes all achieved grade-point averages of 4.0 or better during the spring semester: American's Greta Wicklund, Army's Caroline Taft, Bucknell's Ashley Curry, Colleen Gavigan, Allison Janda, Courtney Lynch and Lisa Prybella, Holy Cross' Courtney Mazzio, Caitlin Moore and Kelly Shaw, Navy's Arwyn Becker, Vicki Moore, Stefanie Peskosky and Kayla Sax.
