Center Valley, Pa. - One hundred and seventy-eight student-athletes were named to the 2008 Patriot League Women's Track and Field Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich Wednesday. The following student-athletes all achieved grade-point averages of 4.0 or better during the spring semester: American's Greta Wicklund, Army's Caroline Taft, Bucknell's Ashley Curry, Colleen Gavigan, Allison Janda, Courtney Lynch and Lisa Prybella, Holy Cross' Courtney Mazzio, Caitlin Moore and Kelly Shaw, Navy's Arwyn Becker, Vicki Moore, Stefanie Peskosky and Kayla Sax.

Navy's Moore was also named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons this past academic year.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's 16 winter or spring championship sports. The criteria for awarding varsity letters are different at each institution.
