Three Patriot League Institutions Honored For Academics By IWLCA
The American, Bucknell and Colgate women's lacrosse teams have been honored for their academic and athletic performance with Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad distinctions.

Patriot League Announces Women's Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll
Eighty-three student-athletes were named to the 2008 Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich Thursday. Bucknell's Alyssa DeLorenz and Christina Garman, Lafayette's Kristin Ruminski and Navy's Margaret Gardner each posted a 4.0 grade-point averages for the spring semester.

Lehigh names Jill Redfern Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Lehigh University Athletics has named Jill Redfern its new head women's lacrosse coach, it was announced on Monday. Redfern takes over for Liz Brode Ota who stepped down from the position earlier this month. Redfern has been the associate head coach of Lehigh's women's lacrosse program since 2006 and served as an assistant coach for the three years prior to that.

Navy's Meg Decker Invited to U.S. Lacrosse National Team Tryouts
Navy women's lacrosse standout Meg Decker (Catonsville, Md.) has been selected as one of 83 student-athletes from across the country to participate in the U.S. Lacrosse Developmental and Elite team tryouts. From those two teams, the final roster for the U.S. women's national team that will compete in the 2009 World Cup will be determined.
